Heirloom Varieties
- Moon and Stars Watermelon is a legendary heirloom watermelon, which is thought to have originally been introduced in 1926 by Peter Henderson & Co. Seeds under the name of Sun, Moon and Stars Watermelon. This watermelon is a very unusual variety with a dark green rind that is speckled with bright yellow spots ranging from pin-hole sized to silver dollar sized, giving the impression of the night sky, the small specks resembling stars and the larger ones like moons, from which markings this variety takes its name
- White Wonder Watermelon is a beautiful and very rare watermelon variety with snow-white flesh that is so pale and transparent in color that it almost looks like ice!
